Playbox is looking for a motivated and organised individual to take charge of planning and delivering 5-a-side indoor football tournaments and leagues at our world-class facility in Vantaa. This is a freelance, project-based role, ideal for someone passionate about football who enjoys managing events from start to finish.

About Playbox:
Playbox is a state-of-the-art indoor sports centre located in Vetokuja, Vantaa, offering top-quality facilities for football, cricket, and more. Designed for year-round play, our versatile space includes an innovative sprung net cage which can be configured for multiple uses from netted cricket lanes to 5-a-side football pitches, and high-performance training equipment – all under one roof.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organise and coordinate indoor football tournaments (e.g. 12-team formats) and leagues
- Liaise with teams, referees, and Playbox staff to ensure smooth matchday operations
- Create fixtures, match schedules, and league/tournament formats
- Promote events and help attract participating teams (with support from Playbox marketing)
- Manage registrations, results, and on-site logistics
- Ensure a positive, competitive, and professional experience for all participants

Ideal Candidate:
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and people skills
- Passion for football and grassroots sports
- Experience running sports events is a plus (but not essential)
- Ability to work flexible hours, especially evenings/weekends during events
This is not a permanent staff position – instead, you will be paid per event or series you organise. You’ll have the freedom to pitch your ideas and shape the football experience at Playbox.
