November Update: Exciting Progress at Playbox Indoor Sports Centre!
This November, we’ve made remarkable strides in the development of the Playbox, bringing us closer to creating a premier space for sports and recreation in our community. Here’s a snapshot of what’s been accomplished this month:
Energy-Efficient LED Lighting
As part of our commitment to sustainability and providing the best possible facilities, we’ve installed state-of-the-art LED lighting throughout the sports centre. These energy-efficient lights not only reduce our carbon footprint but also ensure bright, consistent illumination for players and spectators. The new lighting system enhances visibility while significantly lowering energy consumption, aligning with our mission to create a greener and more sustainable space.
Sustainably Reused Turf Installation
We’re thrilled to share that our new playing surface has been installed, featuring repurposed turf. By reusing high-quality turf from other projects, we’ve taken a significant step toward sustainability while ensuring exceptional performance for athletes. This initiative reflects our commitment to reducing waste and creating an eco-conscious facility without compromising on quality.
Transformation of a Former Car Showroom
The Playbox Indoor Sports Centre is part of an inspiring transformation project, converting a former car showroom into a vibrant community hub for sports and recreation. By repurposing the site, we’re breathing new life into the space, reducing the environmental impact of new construction, and preserving its core structure while adapting it for modern use.
Freshly Painted Interiors
A splash of color has transformed the indoor sports centre, as we completed the interior painting this month. Changing Rooms Taking Shape
Our purpose-built changing rooms are taking shape! Designed with both comfort and functionality in mind, these facilities will cater to the needs of individuals and teams, providing ample space and essential amenities. The construction phase is almost complete, and we’re excited to offer our guests a top-tier experience from the moment they arrive.
